Jetty timber gets the same care as a deck: low pressure along the grain, turned up only where the timber can take it. Over the water we clean with water only, so nothing else goes in. Boat sheds and storage get the method that suits each surface.

What people ask us

Will anything you use end up in the water?
Over the water we use water only. Nothing else goes in. If a boat shed wall needs more than water, we'll talk you through how we keep it out of the water before we start.
Can you fix the jetty while you're there?
We do the cleaning. We're part of The Trade Brigade, so repairs, oiling and painting can be arranged through the same number. Just mention it when you ring.
When is the best time to get it done?
Late winter or spring suits most people, so it's ready when summer on the water starts. If you're working to a date, ring early so we can book around it.
Is the cleaning mix safe for my plants, pets and pool?
We cover or rinse plants as we go. Keep pets inside until the area is rinsed and dry. If there's a pool close by, tell us on the call and we'll plan around it.
Do I need to be home? Do you need my water or power?
Usually you don't need to be home. We use your outside tap and a power point, so tell us when you book if you don't have one. We'll also ask about gates, dogs and where to park.
How long will it stay clean?
It depends on shade, trees and weather. Damp, shady spots go green first. Sunny spots stay clean longer. We'll tell you what to expect once we've seen it.
What if I'm not happy with the job?
